Licking Heights Music Boosters

Next Meeting: March 20, 2017

The Licking Heights Music Boosters  is group of parents, guardians, and Licking Heights Alumni, who come together to assist the Band and Choir Directors; to promote the development and growth of the Music Department; to aid in the activities of these groups, and to assist in the musical and artistic growth of the students who participate in them.

Any parent or guardian of a child in the music program or an alumni of Licking Heights interested in supporting the Music Boosters and it's activities is eligible for membership. Dues are $5 per household annually. Attendance to our monthly meetings are not required, but we do encourage participation to help keep up with Booster activites. Plus, we like to engage our members in open discussion about the direction and possibilities of the Music Boosters. After all, it does take a village to support our musical students.

Some of the events the Boosters participate in are:

  • The sale of 50/50 tickets at each home football game

  • Organize and work the annual Pageant of the Bands marching band competition

  • The fit and alter Marching Band uniforms

  • Chaperone, help move/setup equipment, transport the band trailer, and water for all Marching Band competitions

  • Organize and work concessions for both choral and band winter and spring concerts

  • Help with the coordination of volunteers for the Spring Musical

  • Plan and organize our monthly Thursday Night Fundraisers
